Beverly Posters
Overview
These Beverly Posters were the first project in my Design Factory course. The first piece is a minimalist interpretation of the oldest property in town, the Balch House. I chose to abstract the facade of the house by keeping the most recognizable charactieristics in tact such as colors and texture. The second is a commentary on the severe lack of free parking in the downtown area. This is an issue that I constantly deal with as a commuting student and I thought this assignment would be the perfect opportunity to air out my frustrations on the matter.
Objective
The assignment was to design two posters that capture the essence of Beverly, MA from historical and satirical perspectives.
Target Audience
People who are familiar with the Beverly area.
Timeline
September 2024 (3 weeks)
Additional Information
Both posters would be displayed in a Montserrat exhibition called 42°33’01”N 70°52’34”W in October 2023. The Balch House poster went on to feature in Posters 24 hosted at PintMOD.org.
